Halloween

Saturday night was Trick or Treat night here in Falmouth. Lonnie, Eric, and Jimmy dressed up and handed out goodies...It was really bad though, some of the kids wouldnt even come near the house...Lonnie had a gorilla costume on and Jimmy was a two headed monster he was UGLY!...Eric was himself (hummmm) he handed out the goodies...we had spookey music, a strobe light, skeltons hanging, pumpkins, scare-crows, it was a sight to see....Lonnie's family, Erics family, Jimmy's family, Jan sister April and her little girl were all here...Sunday morning before church we were picking up candy wrappers from every room in the house...I still have two full bowls of candy on fridge ( large bowls) senough to last till next Halloween.....and even sent what I had left over with Lonnie to put in his candy dish at church....The candy on fridge is half of what the kids got..( tooth decay on the way )....and Stanley can't eat any because he is a Diabetic!

SNOW

oh my gosh! I just looked outside and there was these little white flakes coming out of the sky..at first I thought I was sending things, that my eyes were doing tricks, cause I'm old you know ( ha ha)...but no, there was little white flakes coming out of the sky and landing on my Jeep...Its only Oct. 23, what is going to happen in Nov.? But anyways I like snow, that was something else I missed while living in Florida....

Sad Day

Sad day in mudsville yesterday!....I know as reading further you will say MUDSVILLE! wrong town and wrong sport...well anyways yesterday evening my hubby's little league football team 3rd and 4th graders were in the play offs...needless too say the loss, but they really played hard..guess it doesnt matter if three players were out sick and one who played had hurt his shoulder but hung in there...but it was great for the kids cause they made it to the playoffs...good going guys and congrats.!

Fall (the season)

I love this time of year....The trees are turning colors, like a rainbow....I really missed this while living in Florida for 5 years all the trees did down there was turn brown and yes the leaves did fall on the ground except the Palm Trees...I remember one morning the second year we lived there, we got up to go to church, I looked out the window and there was Ice-cicles hanging off the Palm Trees in our yard, it had dropped to 28 degrees overnite and the our sprinkler system had came on and u guessed it ICE! I like going outside this time of year and you can smell fall..,Don't ask me what it smells like can't explain it but I can smell it...(either that or its someones garbage!) Im looking out my window as I type this and the bushes with the berries on them ,the leaves are turning bright red, it is really pretty...Its like God took a mixture of all the colors and threw all over the leaves.....

Football little league style.

We went to our grandson's little league football game today..Which was played in Harrison Co. they won 6-0, but not before the head coach of the other team got himself thrown out of the game. Why? maybe all the screaming he was doing at his team...boys ages 10-11...all I know is I looked up and the game had come to a complete stand still...while the coach was made to remove himself from the field with a few spurts of sign language as he left the field...What a jerk!...

little league and parents

Went to my hubby's little league football game today. 3rd and 4th graders, and it is a shame that parents just can't sit and watch the children play and be quiet! you know what I mean by quiet! I believe yes you should "Hurray" when they make good plays, and jump up and down for the touchdown, but come on, screaming and cursing the refs....Guys these are just little kids out there...Its not a Proffesional game where you have a can of beer in one hand, and using sign language with the other...This is a little kids game, I was so disgusted with some of the parents .(even though we did when in the last 5 seconds of the ball game 6-0) which was a good thing! Not only were they cursing the refs, I heard one father say, quote (next time break his leg)...I WONDER WHAT THIS PARENT TEACHES HIS SON AT HOME!!!!
